Working Student mathematics in pricing actuarial science

Your Tasks

  • Data analysis and preparation related to pricing tool development for various lines of industrial insurance using the R programming language
  • Development of Excel tools for pricing
  • Execution of pricing tests and analysis of test results
  • Support in creating presentations and documentation

Your Profile

  • Ongoing studies in (Business or Financial) Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, or a comparable qualification
  • Strong proficiency in the MS Office suite, especially Excel; knowledge of the R programming language is a plus
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong team player with outstanding communication skills; able to work independently, goal-oriented, and with a high sense of responsibility
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken
