Specialist Healthcare

Your Tasks

  • Handling legally and medically complex bodily injury claims, with a focus on medical malpractice cases
  • Corresponding and conducting personal negotiations with policyholders (including tertiary care hospitals), physicians, attorneys, claimants, relatives, experts, and social insurance providers
  • Assessing litigation prospects and managing ongoing medical malpractice proceedings
  • Coordinating and steering external legal counsel and expert witnesses

Your Profile

  • Fully qualified lawyer (m/f/d) with at least one satisfactory state examination
  • Experience in medical law and/or the handling of major bodily injury claims is desirable
  • Experience in claims management within the insurance industry, legal practice, or other relevant professional experience is an advantage
  • Strong negotiation skills and sound decision-making abilities
  • High level of empathy, sensitivity, and tact
  • Pragmatic approach to identifying and developing effective solutions
  • Creativity, teamwork, and a strong commitment to achieving results
  • Excellent German and good English communication skills, both written and spoken
