Platform Engineer - Internal Developer Portal

Deine Aufgaben

  • Aufbau und der Weiterentwicklung unseres Internal Developer Portals
  • Konzeption und Implementierung von Plugins und Extensions, um die Funktionalität von Backstage an die BedĂĽrfnisse unserer internen Entwicklungsteams anzupassen
  • Anbindung und Integration unserer bestehenden Cloud-Plattformen – darunter die Container-Plattform, die Integrationsplattform und die Plattform fĂĽr virtuelle Maschinen – an das Backstage-Portal
  • Entwicklung von maĂźgeschneiderten UI-Komponenten und Dashboards zur Visualisierung von Services, Metriken und Deployment-Prozessen
  • Automatisierung und Optimierung von Entwicklungsprozessen, um die Self-Service-Fähigkeiten des Portals zu maximieren
  • Enge Zusammenarbeit mit Plattformteams, um konsistente und verlässliche Daten aus verschiedenen Systemen im Portal zu aggregieren
  • Sicherstellung einer hohen Code-Qualität durch Code-Reviews, automatisierte Tests und die Einhaltung von Best Practices
  • Mitgestaltung der Produktvision und der Roadmap fĂĽr das Portal in einem agilen Umfeld

Dein Profil

Dein Profil

  • Mehrjährige praktische Erfahrung in der Entwicklung mit TypeScript und modernen Frontend-Frameworks wie React
  • Tiefgehendes Verständnis der Backstage-Plattform oder Erfahrung mit der Entwicklung von Plugins fĂĽr ähnliche Open-Source-Lösungen
  • Kenntnisse im Umgang mit Cloud-Plattformen und Verständnis fĂĽr Konzepte wie Container-Orchestrierung (z.B. Kubernetes), API Management oder Virtual Machines
  • Starkes Qualitätsbewusstsein und Erfahrung mit modernen Software-Entwicklungsmethoden (Clean Code, CI/CD, automatisierte Tests)
  • Fähigkeit, komplexe technische Sachverhalte klar zu kommunizieren und in interdisziplinären Teams effektiv zusammenzuarbeiten
  • Hands-on-Mentalität und die Bereitschaft, Verantwortung fĂĽr die gesamte Produktentwicklung zu ĂĽbernehmen – von der Idee bis zum Go-Live
  • Hohes Interesse an der Verbesserung der Entwicklererfahrung (DX) und der Steigerung der Produktivität durch intuitive Tools
  • Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse (mind. C1)
