Working Student - Underwriting Assistant for U.S. Insurance

Your Tasks

  • Provide analytical and operational support to Underwriters in the evaluation of new business opportunities and the administration of both new and renewal portfolios within the United States market
  • Independently assume responsibility for assigned project-related initiatives and deliverables
  • Support the regular analysis and reporting of predefined monthly key performance indicators across multiple portfolios
  • Assist in the review and assessment of contractual documentation with US underwriting agencies
  • Review insurance policy wordings and provide support in risk assessment and premium calculation processesSupport the preparation, coordination, and execution of underwriting audits

Your Profile

  • Enrolled in a Master’s program with a focus on business, law, languages, or social sciences
  • Strong analytical skills and a high level of attention to detail
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both German and English
