Working Student Actuarial Reserving & Data Analytics

Your Tasks

  • Support actuarial analyses and data evaluations in the area of technical provisions and reserving
  • Prepare, validate, and ensure the quality and consistency of data used for reporting and decision-making
  • Develop and maintain SQL-based solutions for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
  • Create dashboards, reports, and meaningful data visualizations using tools such as Excel, Power BI, or similar applications
  • Contribute to projects focused on process optimization, automation, and innovation while collaborating with colleagues across actuarial and business functions

Your Profile

  • Ongoing studies in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Data Science, or a related field
  • A minimum of one year remaining until graduation
  • Strong interest in actuarial topics and the insurance industry
  • Analytical mindset combined with a structured and detail-oriented way of working
  • Good knowledge of Excel and a strong affinity for working with data and digital tools
  • Initial experience with SQL and/or data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI); Python skills are an advantage
  • Excellent English skills; good German skills are desirable
