Your Tasks
- Take on responsibility for quantitative risk management topics and actively contribute to the HDI International Risk Management Team
- Support and challenge our international insurance subsidiaries in the operation and ongoing improvement of Solvency II reporting and internal risk models, working in close collaboration with colleagues across the HDI Group
- Analyse complex risk questions, such as M&A due diligence or the quantification of strategic or natural catastrophe risks and derive clear management recommendations for decision‑makers
- Continuously enhance our risk management capabilities through pragmatic improvements of methods, processes and tools, while actively contributing to a strong learning culture and building authority through expertise
- Be part of a diverse, international environment that combines high ambition and professionalism with open communication, strong team spirit and enjoyment of working together
Your Profile
- Solid quantitative background (e.g. mathematics, economics, finance, risk management or a comparable field) by successfully finished studies and intensive professional experience
- Strong interest and knowledge in risk management and Solvency II, including quantitative risk models
- Ability to take responsibility for complex topics and communicate clear, actionable recommendations to non‑technical decision‑makers
- High curiosity and motivation to learn in a demanding environment, combined with strong engagement, commitment and a high level of professionalism
- Collaborative working style and enjoyment of working in a diverse, international environment
- Fluent written and spoken English; additional languages (especially Spanish, Portuguese, Polish, Turkish, and Italian or German), are an advantage
