Specialist Legal

Your Tasks

  • Legal support for the insurance and reinsurance business of our internationally operating industrial segment 
  • Review and drafting of insurance and distribution contracts in German and English, in particular with a focus on Engineering, Sports, Delegated Authority Europe, International Programs and Data Protection Law (e.g. agency contracts, broker contracts, insurance policies and reinsurance contracts)
  • Review and drafting of contracts in the context of cooperation with external loss adjusters (TPAs)
  • Cooperation with our colleagues in our international branches
  • Legal support in judicial and extrajudicial legal proceedings
  • Supporting the legal team in all areas that arise

Your Profile

  • Knowledge and expertise regarding the tasks and of insurance contract law is an advantage
  • German fully qualified lawyer or comparable foreign qualification
  • Willingness to familiarise oneself in depth with international insurance distribution law
  • Pleasure in familiarising oneself with unfamiliar and international topics and issues
  • Ability to work in a structured and independent manner
  • Willingness to work in an international team
  • Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
