Specialist Actuarial Science and Services

Your Tasks

  • Responsible for development and maintenance of global pricing models for longtail lines, mailny casualty
  • Participation in cross-functional project e.g. for increasing data quality
  • Review and validate technical pricing adequacy and model assumptions, ensuring accuracy and reliability of pricing models
  • Support establishing and further developing the Pricing Guidelines and Pricing Governance
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with underwriters and actuaries worldwide, driving global consistency and improvements in technical pricing
  • Conduct regular pricing trainings for underwriters and relevant stakeholders, ensuring strong understanding of pricing concepts and methodologies

Your Profile

  • At least a Master degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or a related field
  • Professional actuarial qualification (e.g., DAV, SAV) is beneficial. 
  • Experience in actuarial pricing, ideally with exposure to Long-tail business and technical pricing models
  • Strong sense of ownership and ability to take responsibility for topics and drive them forward
  • Proficient in the use of statistical software (e.g., SAS, R, Python, Emblem) as well as Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to act as a functional lead and sparring partner in an international environment
  • Strong teamwork skills and ability to collaborate across functions (Underwriting, Actuarial, IT)
  • Strong curiosity to explore new technologies such as Generative AI and continuously build hands-on expertise
  • Strong proficiency in English (C1) written and spoken, German (B2) written and spoken language skills is a plus
