Senior Inhouse Consultant Digital Transformation

Your Tasks

  • Lead end-to-end strategic transformation initiatives – from problem framing to implementation, with clear ownership for tangible business impact 
  • Define and structure ambiguous, enterprise-level problem statements and translate them into actionable strategies, target operating models, and execution roadmaps 
  • Advise and challenge senior and executive management on key strategic decisions related to digital transformation, IT operating model, and business growth 
  • Drive decision-making processes in complex stakeholder environments, aligning cross-functional teams across business and IT in an international context 
  • Orchestrate and lead project teams and workstreams, ensuring delivery at high quality, pace and analytical rigor comparable to top-tier consulting standards 
  • Shape and further develop the inhouse consulting function, contributing methodologies, perspectives and best practices from leading strategy consulting environments 

Your Profile

  • University degree in business, organizational development, psychology, IT, or a related field
  • At least 4 years of experience in strategy consulting or comparable inhouse consulting / transformation roles, with a strong track record of delivering measurable impact 
  • Proven ability to lead (sub-)projects or workstreams independently, including end-to-end ownership of results and stakeholder alignment 
  • Outstanding analytical and conceptual skills, with demonstrated experience in structuring complex, ambiguous problems and deriving actionable recommendations 
  • Strong exposure to senior stakeholders, with the ability to confidently advise, challenge and influence decision-makers at leadership level  
  • Experience in at least one relevant domain, such as digital transformation, IT strategy / operating models, or (commercial) insurance  
  • Affinity for an agile way of working 
  • Diplomatic skills, team spirit and empathy coupled with assertiveness and the ability to deal with conflict  
  • Fluent written and spoken German and English (C1 level)
