Leiter:in Compliance Retail International

Your Tasks

  • Management of the compliance department of the insurance holding company in the Retail International segment
  • Disciplinary and lateral responsibility for one employee and subject-related responsibility for core compliance issues (in particular financial sanctions, corruption prevention, sales and products, sustainability, supervisory law)
  • Assumption of the role of compliance officer and the person responsible at the service provider (German MaGO)
  • Responsibility for execution of the elements of the compliance management system (risk control, monitoring, reporting, training/awareness and legal monitoring)
  • Responsibility for coordinating and subject-related steering of the compliance functions of the foreign subsidiaries in the Retail International segment
  • Further development of the compliance community in the Retail International segment and stakeholder management of the relevant interfaces at the subsidiaries
  • Support and handling of compliance-related incidents at foreign subsidiaries in the Retail International segment (including whistleblowing)
  • Strategic enhancement of the compliance function

Your Profile

  • Degree in law, economics, business law or a comparable field of study
  • Several years of in-depth experience in the field of law, compliance or auditing
  • Management experience in the insurance sector or in the field of compliance
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements (industry-specific, international context)
  • Business fluent English, German - other languages (especially Spanish) desirable
  • Fit & Proper in accordance with BaFin requirements, as well as integrity and sense of responsibility
  • Structured and solution-oriented approach to work, as well as analytical and conceptual skills
  • Strong communication skills and assertiveness across all hierarchical levels
  • Engagement and flexibility
