Head of Risk Consulting / Resilience Services

Your Tasks

  • Lead and strategically develop the central organizational unit, including line management of an internal team of currently 17 employees
  • Manage and further develop HRC’s resilience and digital services for external client interfaces as well as internal underwriting
  • Support and actively contribute to HDI Global’s marketing initiatives through subject-matter expertise from HDI Risk Consulting
  • Drive the further development of global client relationships in close alignment with local units; based on client feedback and the structured analysis of pain points and satisfaction drivers; including market, competitor and SWOT analyses
  • Further develop the HRC value stream to strengthen client retention and revenue growth, including the expansion of NatCat/climate services (in collaboration with ARGOS) as well as new tools and services in business interruption, supply chain and valuation topics
  • Develop products and tools in the field of data analytics and AI
  • Manage and further develop the HDI Risk Consulting Academy

Your Profile

  • University degree or comparable qualification
  • Several years of relevant professional experience, ideally in technical risk consulting
  • Proven disciplinary leadership experience, including managing project teams and client relationships
  • Experience working in cross-regional and international teams
  • Curious, proactive and entrepreneurial mindset, with a strong interest in innovation and a clear affinity for AI technologies
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills combined with a confident and professional presence
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken); additional language skills are a plus
  • Clear willingness to travel (domestically and internationally)
