Head of Data Science Department

Your Tasks

  • Functional and disciplinary leadership of the central data analytics team
  • Design and establishment of a modular, scalable pricing service landscape
  • Responsibility for the further development of the central pricing and analytics dataset in close collaboration with the central data platform team and actuarial pricing teams
  • Continuous enhancement of the pricing and analytics platform with a focus on professionalization, scalability, and standardization
  • Ongoing enhancement and development of data analytics solutions
  • Central interface function between business units, actuarial pricing teams, and IT (e.g. central data platform team)

Your Profile

  • Successfully completed studies in Business Informatics, Mathematics, or a related field, with a strong affinity for technology and data-driven solutions
  • Proven experience in leading and developing high-performing teams of experts in a complex, international environment
  • Deep knowledge and experience in software development, ideally in building and operating pricing services, or analytics environments
  • Excellent communication and alignment skills across business, actuarial, and IT stakeholders
  • Strategic and visionary thinking to develop and drive long-term goals in a technology - and service-oriented environment
  • Analytical, and execution-driven mindset with strong ownership and entrepreneurial thinking
  • Very good English language skills, both written and spoken, and a strong interest in working in an international environment
