Executive Assistant to the Chief Financial Officer

Your Responsibilities

  • Comprehensive support of the Chief Financial Officer in strategic, analytical and operational matters
  • Preparation of high-quality analyses, reports and presentations for executive management and supervisory bodies
  • Independent structuring and steering of selected finance-related projects and initiatives close to the CFO agenda
  • Handling of ad-hoc requests and active support of internal and external financial communication at executive level
  • Coordination and alignment with internal and external stakeholders; incl. the senior finance leadership team and international CFO community
  • Preparation and facilitation of strategy workshops and leadership meetings with senior management stakeholders
  • Proactive identification, prioritization and follow-up of relevant topics and decision items in a dynamic environment

Your Profile

  • Relevant professional experience (typically 3-5 years), preferably within the finance function of an insurance company or another operational or strategic area within the insurance business
  • Very good university degree in business administration, economics, finance, mathematics, or a comparable field
  • Additional professional qualification such as Actuary, ACCI, SEMA, CFA, Tax advisor etc. are welcome
  • Solid understanding of the (non-life) insurance business model and the role of finance and the associated processes and (external) requirements
  • Strong analytical, structuring, and conceptual skills, with the ability to translate complexity into clear, decision-relevant insights
  • Proven strength in clear, concise, and audience-oriented communication, incl. at senior management level
  • High level of ownership, precision, and sense of responsibility, willingness to go the extra mile
  • Proactive, self-driven working style with the ability to maintain momentum in a fast-paced international environment
  • Fluent in English, other languages of advantage
