Business Consultant Microsoft Power Platform

Your Tasks

  • Advise and empower business functions and cross-functional teams in the effective use of the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse
  • Drive the adoption of the Microsoft Power Platform across HDI Global, particularly through citizen development initiatives and the use of Microsoft 365 applications such as SharePoint and Teams
  • Contribute to the Center of Excellence (CoE) and actively support the evolution of agile ways of working
  • Independently identify, analyze, and evaluate new business requirements, technology trends, and innovation opportunities related to the Microsoft Power Platform
  • Further develop the functional and technical architecture while maintaining an end-to-end process perspective
  • Design, develop, and implement innovative business and technical solutions, from initial concepts and prototypes through to production deployment
  • Administer and continuously enhance the Microsoft Power Platform environment to ensure scalability, usability, and business value

Your Profile

  • Degree in Business Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration with a focus on IT, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in Microsoft Power Platform, low-code/no-code solutions, or process automation
  • Strong IT affinity and a solid understanding of core technology concepts such as database design, algorithms, and software architecture
  • Practical experience with Microsoft Power Platform technologies, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse, or comparable low-code and automation platforms
  • Experience within the insurance industry is considered an advantage
  • Ability to structure complex or ambiguous requirements and translate them into pragmatic, user-centric solutions
  • Strong understanding of usability, customer value, and the commercial impact of technical solutions and requirements
  • Proactive mindset and enthusiasm for exploring new topics, developing innovative solutions, and driving change initiatives forward
  • Passion for emerging technologies and a strong commitment to continuous personal and professional development
  • Openness, courage, and a willingness to give and receive constructive feedback on a regular basis
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills
  • Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken (minimum C1 level)
