Deine Aufgaben

• Drive the further development and functional ownership of our insurance subledger platform (Snowflake / Global Accounting Database)
• Contribute to the design and implementation of a multi-GAAP accounting solution, providing standardized financial data from a single source of truth
• Support finance transformation initiatives, including the implementation and replacement of accounting systems, particularly within international SAP S/4HANA rollout programs
• Analyze, define, and document business requirements while continuously enhancing accounting logic and related financial processes
• Translate business needs into solution designs, epics, features, and user stories in close collaboration with Product Managers, Product Owners, and agile delivery teams
• Act as a key liaison between Finance and IT, ensuring effective collaboration across Accounting, Actuarial, Controlling, Reinsurance, and technology teams
• Support the delivery of financial data required for quarter-end and year-end closing activities, including implementation oversight and documentation of results
• Prepare management reports, presentations, and decision-making materials for global stakeholders, while evaluating market trends and industry best practices

Dein Profil

• Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Business Information Systems, Finance, or a related field with a focus on Accounting and Finance, or equivalent relevant professional experience
• Several years of experience in business analysis and/or financial architecture, ideally as a Business Analyst or Insurance Financial Analyst within the financial services or insurance industry
• Experience in primary insurance and/or reinsurance as well as in accounting, auditing, or audit-related consulting is an advantage
• Experience working in agile environments and projects (e.g., Scrum, SAFe), preferably within the insurance sector
• Strong knowledge of HGB, IFRS (including IFRS 17), and Solvency II, combined with in-depth expertise in insurance accounting and financial closing processes
• Strong affinity for technology and hands-on experience with SAP solutions (including SAP FI/CO and SAP Insurance Analyzer) as well as SQL-based data analysis and database querying
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills, coupled with a structured, self-driven, and results-oriented working style as well as strong communication and collaboration skills
• Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken (minimum C1 level)
