Analytics Developer / DevOps

Your Tasks

  • Automation of testing and deployment processes for R packages, Plumber APIs, and Shiny web applications
  • Management and continuous development of Azure cloud resources
  • Design and implementation of testing strategies for R packages
  • Ensuring monitoring of pricing and geoservice applications
  • Experience with the following tools is an advantage: GitLab CI, Harbor, Nexus, and API management

Your Profile

  • Successfully completed degree in (Business) Informatics, Statistics, Data Science, or a comparable qualification
  • Hands-on project experience in data science, data warehouse, or BI environments; experience with GitLab CI/CD and Docker is an advantage
  • Strong conceptual understanding of insurance-specific processes as well as solid knowledge of common data science methodologiesInitial experience with insurance lines of business and product knowledge within a data domain is a plus
  • Good knowledge of data modelling, data workflows, performance optimisation, and ETL processes; ideally in combination with cloud technologies and APIs
  • Strong technical mindset with above-average, hands-on experience in software development (in particular R, SQL, and Python)
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to quickly understand complex topics
  • High quality and excellence standards in the delivery of projectsStrong communication and teamwork skills, combined with a high level of initiative, commitment, and entrepreneurial thinking
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills
