(Senior) Manager Corporate Development

Your Tasks

  • Further development and refinement of the corporate strategy, as well as coordination of its implementation across relevant business units
  • Analysis of markets, competitive dynamics, and industry trends and derivation of strategic recommendations for top management
  • Development, evaluation, and execution support of profitable growth strategies and business models, including business case development
  • Management and delivery of strategic projects from initial concept through to operational implementation
  • Preparation and presentation of results and recommendations to top management and the executive board
  • Active involvement in national and international M&A initiatives (e.g. business model and financial analysis, business plan development)
  • Proactive contribution to the ongoing development of the Corporate Development function, particularly in areas such as ESG, innovation, and AI

Your Profile

  • Successfully completed university degree in business administration, economics, or a comparable qualification supported by relevant practical experience
  • Several years of relevant professional experience in corporate development, corporate strategy, in-house consulting, or a leading strategy consulting firm, ideally within the insurance or financial services sector
  • Experience and knowledge of the (industrial) insurance environment are an advantage
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to structure, interpret, and translate complex market, competitive, and company data into actionable recommendations
  • High level of personal accountability combined with a structured and results-oriented working style
  • Strong stakeholder management capabilities and communication skills at senior management level
  • Business-fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken (minimum C1 level)
