HDI AG is looking for a Full/part time (up to 38,00 hours/week) permanent position in the department Business Development Europe in Hannover.
Your Tasks
- Business development in the Turkish insurance market to capture the full potential of organic and an-organic growth of HDI International AG
- Strategic management, steering/support and controlling of HDI International AG’s Turkish subsidiaries
- Assisting in the conceptual development, implementation and monitoring of strategic targets and supporting and/or improving sales partnerships
- Preparation of planning figures (incl. budgets) and deviation analysis with consecutive responsibility for implementation of necessary measures
- Aspects of lateral leadership within the management of our subsidiaries on a case by case basis
- Analysis of business development of selected companies/even countries, mainly ad hoc
- Identification and analysis of new trends, markets and companies
- Management and/or support in M&A projects, due diligence processes and projects regarding special topics
- Interface management with our regional units, within HDI International AG and with specific departments in the holding group company (in particular BD, Legal)
- Preparation and composition of information as well as drafting of presentations for relevant internal resolution bodies (Board of Management, Steering Committees)
Your Profile
- Completed studies in Business Administration, Economics or comparable qualifications
- Profound experience in the insurance and/or reinsurance sector or finance area indispensable
- Several years of professional experience in consulting, management or controlling or entry-level position as a Business Analyst/Business Developer with less extensive experience
- International focus in your studies and/or professional activities
- Knowledge of Turkish insurance market is of particular advantage
- Experience in project management and/or consulting area is of advantage
- Analytical thinking and a structured as well as conceptual way of working
- Willingness and ability to enhance existing knowledge and the ability to quickly and independently familiarize oneself with new subjects are mandatory
- Team spirit and enthusiasm for intercultural work
- Diplomatic skills and empathy on the one hand, conflict resolution ability, strong implementation skills and assertiveness on the other
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in Turkish and English, and knowledge of another language, especially German, is an advantage
- Resilient and willing to travel as well as a confident manner in an international environment
